Terms of Service
Effective September 6, 2026 · Version 2026-09-06
These terms govern your use of SideDoor Events for event management, membership, invitations, RSVPs, and communications. By selecting the agreement checkbox, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
Accounts and access
Provide accurate account information, protect your password, and use only accounts and organizations you are authorized to access. Membership may require organizer approval. Tell your organization administrator if you suspect unauthorized access. Access may be restricted or suspended for security reasons, misuse, or loss of membership.
Responsible use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, spam, impersonation, unauthorized disclosure of personal information, or interference with the service. Upload and share only content you have permission to use. Do not attempt to bypass access controls or access another organization's information.
Your content and communications
You retain your rights in content you provide. You authorize its storage, processing, and display as needed to operate the features you use and deliver your requested communications. Organizers are responsible for their event content, contact lists, and permissions to contact recipients. Acceptance of these terms is not consent to unrelated marketing.
Events and memberships
Organizers manage event details, entry requirements, membership decisions, cancellations, and any event-specific charges or refunds. An RSVP or invitation does not override an organizer's entry requirements. Review the organizer's rules before participating and contact the organizer about event disputes.
Automated features
The service may process scheduled communications, reminders, invitation activity, and account or event updates. Administrators must review recipients, content, timing, and permissions before enabling or scheduling an action. Delivery and processing times may vary. Check the outcome of time-sensitive actions and use the available settings or contact your administrator to change future activity. These terms do not authorize arbitrary actions on your behalf.
Plans and payments
If your organization purchases a plan, the pricing, trial period, renewal method, and cancellation terms presented for that purchase apply. This agreement alone does not authorize a charge or enroll you in automatic renewal. Contact your administrator about membership charges and the platform administrator about organization billing.
Availability and responsibility
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, failures, or security measures. Do not rely on it for emergency communications. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Ending use and changes
You may stop using the service and contact your administrator to request account closure. Data handling after closure is described in the Privacy Policy. Updated terms will show a new version and effective date. Where renewed agreement is required, it must be requested before the updated terms apply to you.
Questions
Contact the organization administrator who invited you for membership or event questions. For platform questions, ask that administrator to contact SideDoor Events through their existing platform support channel.
